Dr. Jody Edward Ginn is the Director of Development for the Texas Rangers Hall of Fame and Museum in Waco. Before becoming a professional historian, he served in the U.S. Army and worked in law enforcement for 15 years. He holds a Ph.D. in History from the University of North Texas and a Master's in Public History, along with a Bachelor's in Criminal Justice from Texas State University. Ginn has received the Fred White, Jr. Research Fellowship and has published various works, including a solo book in 2019. He also works as a historical consultant, writer, and adjunct professor. Notably, he was a consultant for the Netflix film The Highwaymen and has been quoted in major media outlets like USAToday and Time Magazine.
